Food Partners is a growing food manufacturing business located in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire. The majority of staff working at Food Partners are from the local area. Food Partners also work closely with Jobcentre Plus to offer guaranteed interviews to SIP residents.

Food Partners support school work-experience programmes and accept students on work based projects to assist with their course. Food Partners encourage fund raising activities for a range of causes such as Children in Need, Jeans for Genes, Cancer Research, Breast Cancer Awareness, Hansel Village, Anthony Nolan Leukemia Trust, Highland Cross, Yorkhill Hospital, etc. They also support Ayrshire Carers Cottage.

Food Partners have scheduled time at the end of their staff Appraisal meetings to cover volunteering work, such as any time or support that may be required to assist a member of staff in this way. Each Friday, Food Partners host a ‘dress down day’ and collect £1 towards a charity nominated by staff.

Food Partners believe that ‘our customers are the life-blood of our organisation and must be treated as such’. All customers are provided with terms and conditions of business, menu cycles, price lists and confirmation of their delivery window. They are also provided with a list of contacts so that they know who to contact should they have any problems. New customers receive a courtesy call every day for the first week to ensure that service has been satisfactory.

Food Partners hold a Higher level British Retail Consortium accreditation and are subject to regular customer audits. They have achieved numerous accolades as a result of their hard work, such as:
